Sofia will be the wonderful setting for the 2016 EFCA annual conference "Maximizing the potential benefits of European strategic investments - Emerging business opportunities in Bulgaria and the Balkan region" from the 2nd to the 4th of June.
In 2014, the EU promised mobilisation of € 315 billion for infrastructure, innovation, energy, and business growth. By March 2016, € 76 billion had been invested. Whether you are a local company or one which can cross borders and forge partnerships, this will be an incredible opportunity for new business projects in a fast developing region.
We have plan for ambitious investment projects here in Bulgaria, as do our neighbouring states. As newer EU member states,we welcome expertise and insights from elsewhere in the EU to develop them in line with the requirements of the EU Structural and Investment Funds.

This year conference is interspersed with numerous opportunities for networking amongst our young professionals, our CEOs and with our public partners from national and EU organisations. It is now left to us to make it a launch pad for project development and to seek access points to the EU investment Plan.
